Circus Vazquez Bringing Larger Big Top Show To Burlington Mall This Summer

The Vazquez family is bringing a larger big top experience to Burlington Mall this summer.

Circus Vazquez will bring its 2026 tour to the Burlington Mall from June 12 through July 6. While the Vazquez family has previously brought Flip Circus to Burlington, organizers say this will be the first time the larger Circus Vazquez production has played in town.

Circus Vazquez has been in existence since 1969 and is still run by the Vazquez family. The show is described as the largest family-owned big top circus in America, with a tent that holds close to 2,000 seats. Flip Circus, which the family created about four years ago, is a smaller and more intimate production with a tent that holds about 750 seats.

The production blends traditional circus entertainment with contemporary elements, featuring an international cast of performers, live music, comedy, aerial acts, acrobatics, juggling, dance and highwire performances.

This year’s show is led by Chistirrín, a clown from Mexico known for his comedy and audience interaction. The performance will also feature Duo Stauberti from the Czech Republic, winners of the Silver Clown Award, along with diabolo juggling from Lorenzo Ringenbach and Sascha Cort of France and Switzerland.

Other acts include Uzbekistan’s Triple Breath team on the highwire, Duo Sky with an aerial straps performance, and Ukraine’s Bingo Troupe, showcasing dance, acrobatics, hoops and aerial artistry. The show will also include live music from the Circus Vazquez Band.
