BHS students Afsa Khalifa, Emilly Madeira, and Anastasiia Zhovnerenko were selected for inclusion in this year’s Emerging Young Artists and Designers Juried Exhibition.
UMass Dartmouth’s College of Visual and Performing Arts (CVPA) presents the Emerging Young Artists and Designers 2025 Juried Exhibition, continuing the tradition of exhibiting high school students’ work since 2013. The EYAD 2025 virtual exhibition opening, reception, and awards presentation for the exhibiting artists, their art teachers, the UMass Dartmouth community, and the general public will be held online on Friday, February 7, 4:30pm, at the Zoom link: https://bit.ly/EYAD2025
Afsa Khalifa has also been awarded a Silver Key by this year’s Massachusetts Region Scholastic Art and Writing Awards in the category of Digital Art for her digital painting, Food Pantry shown up top.
