Thanks to a $10,000 grant from the Burlington Educational Foundation, Burlington elementary schools will be receiving new, up-to-date robotics kits to revive a robotics program.
“I think we ended a lot of those [programs] after Covid, and the robotics kits we had aged out,” said Superintendent Dr. Eric Conti. “This will be a restart of that program.”
Conti thanked science specialist Sean Musselman for taking the time to write the grant and coordinate the program.
“It’s great to see this coming back,” said School Committee Chair Christine Monaco. “Hopefully we can re-enforce it over time.”
