Eversource Burlington Energy Project Public Meeting

June 24, 2026

On June 24, 2026 Eversource hosted a public meeting in Burlington related to a substation infrastructure proposal for Burlington and Woburn. The existing Middlesex Turnpike Substation in Burlington and the North Woburn and South Woburn Substations are reaching capacity limits. Eversource is proposing a new substation off Winn Street, adjacent to an existing Eversource-owned right-of-way in Burlington.

Thaddeus (Tad) Stephanak is BCAT’s Social Media Director and Production Coordinator.
