Over 60 local artisans and vendors are expected to present their wares at this Saturday’s Burlington Community Scholarship Foundation Thanksgiving Craft Fair, to be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Burlington High School. “The event is a fundraiser for the scholarship foundation,” said Tara N. Perry of Mill City Events, which is co-hosting the event alongside BCSF. “Each year they provide a number of graduating high school students with various scholarships. The work for they do their community is amazing.” Vendors include Yiayia’s Baklava, Blue Bumble Bee Creations, and Chameleon Crafts. There will also be face painting and food from Heavenly Dogs Catering, as well as more than 40 raffles. “We welcome the community to come out and support our small business vendors,” Perry continued. “I strongly believe that small businesses are the backbone to our many communities! A snow date is planned for November 19.
