Fast-Casual Organic Cafe Life Alive Seeks Burlington Location

The organic cafe Life Alive is one step closer to a new location in Burlington after they were approved for a special permit from the town Planning Board.

The restaurant is planned for 91 Middlesex Turnpike, formerly a Blaze Pizza, and will feature 92 seats, an outdoor patio and a juice bar.

“‘Eat positive, Live positive’ is what we go by,” said Life Alive Vice President of Operations Chris Hogan. “Our food is all organic, scratch-made kitchen in the truest sense: Every cafe makes its own stuff, has a chef within the cafe, and the food is not only beautiful but really good for you.”

The menu features warm grain bowls, salads, wraps, acai bowls and smoothies, as well as superfood lattes and cold-pressed juices.

Life Alive has 10 locations in Boston, Cambridge, Somerville, Dedham, Lowell and Salem. Hogan said they plan to open the Burlington location in the spring of 2025.
