Video Vacation Week

It’s a summer program for middle-school students to have fun, be creative and learn about video production. Our program welcomes all levels of experience, however requires none. Participants are taught the proper use of video equipment for both in-studio and on-location productions.

Over the course of one week, students will create their own production. They will have the opportunity to work in front of the camera, as well as behind the scenes learning about a variety of video production aspects such as directing, graphics, audio, etc. The completed production will be broadcast on BCAT and available on-demand on BCAT’s YouTube channel.

Regular support is given to all participants with an interest in any aspect of production.
