Girls Varsity Volleyball is heading to the D2 North Finals.
On Thursday evening the team traveled to Stoneham High School to go against the number one seed the Arlington Catholic Cougars.The Lady Devils pulled off an impressive win over the Cougars with a final score of three to one.
The girls won’t have a long time to relax as they will travel to Tewksbury High School this Saturday to take on the number two seed the Lynnfield Pioneers at 3 pm. The Pioneers defeated number 11 seed Melrose with a final score of three to nothing.
The overall record for Lynnfield is 21-2 with only two losses of the year being against Masconomet and North Andover. Lynnfield are 13-1 in the league. The Pioneers defense allowed two points or less by their opponent.
Burlington’s defense also allowed two points or less by their opponent.
