The Burlington Girl Scouts are gearing up for their spookiest event of the season: Trunk or Treat, scheduled for Sunday, October 20 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The event is a great time for kids to get their trick-or-treat on in a safe and fun location – this year, in the faculty parking lot at the Burlington High School.
Last year, more than 400 families participated, said organizer Laura Borisow. Each family is asked to bring a donation for the Burlington food pantry.
Right now, they’re looking for vendors – that is, folks to offer candy or other goodies – company swag, perhaps? – from the trunks of their cars. Last year, vendors included the Burlington Police Department, Real School of Music, Heroes for Hire, the Burlington Public Library, and more!
Interested vendors can contact Borisow at laura.borisow@yahoo.com.
