The High School Building Committee held another community forum on Thursday, March 27. Two Options were heavily discussed, AR8 site plan which would be an addition and renovation of the existing building. The NC5 site plan would be new construction. Participants at the meeting were divided on which option they felt would be best. School.
The reps from Dore + Whitter, the firm managing the project and Tappé Architects, Inc, went over the feasibility and costs of the two options. Arguments made against the NC5 option leaned toward excluding the plan due to its possible intrusion on the wetlands. NC5 includes moving the Varsity Field facility to the area where the practice fields are currently.
