Monday is Columbus Day/Indigenous Peoples’ Day and that means many people will have the day off.
All municipal offices, including Town Hall, the Burlington Public Library and Burlington Public Schools will be closed. Of course the Burlington Police and Fire Departments will remain open.
State and federal offices will also be closed, including the Post Office and courts.
Many businesses will open on Monday. Restaurants and retail stores will be open at the owners’ discretion. Liquor stores can open at noon if the owner chooses.
Supermarkets and convenience stores will be open.
BCAT will also be closed on Monday so have a great weekend and we’ll see you Tuesday.
