Household Hazardous Waste Day Is Here Again

Get ready to get the gunk out.

The Burlington Board of Health is holding their Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day coming up on Saturday, April 2, 2022 8:30am to 12 noon. The event is taking place at Francis Wyman Elementary School 41 Terrace Hall Ave.

Some of the household hazardous waste and products you may dispose of at the event is aerosol cans, fluorescent light bulbs, oil based paints, stains and pool chemicals. Thinners & solvents, driveway sealer, roofing tars and non-alkaline batteries will also be accepted. This environmentally friendly collection also accepts automotive waste like oil, antifreeze and gas as well as mercury containing products, pesticides, chemical fertilizers, propane tanks and of course toxic cleaning products.

Be aware they will NOT accept latex paint.
