Lahey Hospital Lays Out COVID-19 Vaccine Plan.

Lahey Hospital and Medical Center is required to follow the state’s direction on who gets the vaccine first. You can find details on when you’ll be eligible on the Department of Public Health’s website

Lahey will be contacting our patients individually to let you know when it’s your turn based on the state’s guidelines and vaccine availability. You do not need to call your doctor’s office at this time.

Beth Israel Lahey Health is working to ensure you’ll have easy access to the vaccine when you are eligible under the state’s guidelines.

  • We’re setting up vaccination sites in multiple locations across eastern Massachusetts.
  • We’re planning to offer several ways to schedule an appointment for your COVID-19 vaccination.

We will share more information about locations and appointment scheduling soon.

Here are some things you can do before the vaccine is available:

  • If you have a MyLaheyChart account, take a moment to login and make sure your contact information is up to date. This will ensure you get future communications from us.
  • Explore our vaccine education resources including frequently asked questions and videos featuring Beth Israel Lahey Health experts discussing vaccine side effects, new strains of COVID-19, and other topics.

While you wait for your COVID-19 vaccination – and even after you get your vaccine – please continue to protect yourself and others with the safety measures you have been taking. Continue to wear a mask, stay at least six feet away from people outside your household, and clean your hands often.

Thank you for trusting Beth Israel Lahey Health with your care. We look forward to providing more updates soon.
