Library Closed – April 17 & 18
The Library will be closed April 17th and 18th for the holidays.  Our online library is always open, however, with downloadable books, movies, music, and more!

This week we have three of our regularly scheduled storytimes. (Online) Hidden Gems: Ten Beautiful Places in India – Monday, April 11 at 7pm
Imagine walking on a living tree bridge or seeing tea grown and harvested as monsoon clouds roll in. Sleep in a royal bed overlooking a beautiful lake or gaze at the tallest mountains from a hammock. Discover hidden gems in India and how to get to them!

(Online) Protecting You and Your Assets: A Financial Workshop – Wednesday, April 20 at 7pm
Life as an independent adult can feel complicated and overwhelming. How can you be ready for the challenges ahead? This workshop will help you organize and prepare for your adult life!

Presented by Jennifer Bethel, a Professor of Finance at Babson College and the Faculty Director of the Babson Financial Literacy Program. The Babson Financial Literacy Project (BFLP) is a not-for-profit program designed to help young adults (17 to 30 year-olds) acquire the necessary knowledge and skills for long-term financial prosperity and independence. (In Person) Spring Floral Design with Patti Prior – Thursday, April 21 at 7pm
Learn how to care for and arrange supermarket flowers utilizing different types of containers to create extraordinary spring decorations. Elijah T. Grasshopper and Friends Music – Tuesday, April 19th at 11am
Fun children’s music performance with Elijah and his friends the Go Go Beans!
Most family programs are best for ages 3-10, but younger and older children are welcome.
Sponsored by the Burlington Cultural Council, a local agency supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.

Teen Anime Night – Tuesday, April 19th at 6:30pm
Join Jenna for an anime movie night – complete with themed snacks! Grades 6-12. Registration is required and begins April 1st.

Family Movie Showing – Wednesday, April 20th at 11am
Join us for a showing of a recently release children’s movie. A light snack will be served, but you are welcome to bring a paper bag lunch. Movie TBD.

Preschool Games – Thursday, April 21st at 11am
Miss Michaela will do some fun and energetic activities with your preschooler. This is a drop-in event. Ages 3-5 with caregiver.

Sharpie Coasters – Thursday, April 21st at 4pm
Make some fun tie-dyes inspired coasters with ceramic tiles and sharpies, for grades 4-8.  Registration opens April 7th.

Preschool Science – Friday, April 22nd at 11am
Enjoy fun and educational science with Ariel; for caregivers with children ages 3-6. Registration opens one week before event.

Teen Event: Board Games – Friday. April 22nd at 2pm
Join Nicole for some afternoon board game fun! We have a lot of great games to play including One Night Werewolf, Choose Your Own Adventure, Bang or classics like Apples to Apples. Grades 6-12. Registration is required and begins April 1st.

American Girl Tea Party – Saturday, April 23rd at 11am
Join us for a doll themed party. Bring your favorite doll for some tea, cookies, and a doll themed activity. We will also be raffling off a used American Girl Doll. Registration opens one week before event. 

Teen Emoji Embroidery – Saturday, April 23rd at 3pm
Join Nicole and learn the basics of embroidery. You’ll be given a simple emoji embroidery kit to begin. You might not finish it, but you can take it home to continue. Grades 6-12. Registration is required and begins April 1st.

Storytimes

Toddler Storytime – Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 10:30am
For caregivers with children ages 18-36 months.
Interact with your toddler to nurture a love of books.

Preschool Storytime – Wednesdays at 11am
For caregivers with children ages 3-6 years.
Help your preschooler get ready to read! Enjoy stories together!

Please note: Caregivers are expected to stay with children during all storytime sessions.
