The following is a letter to the editor and does not necessarily reflect the opinion of BNEWS. 

To whom it may concern:

As a parent, I was horrified by the way a group of right wing extremists targeted the Burlington Public school system last summer.

Katherine showed she had the right stuff to deal with the intense pressure and adverse publicity that this group created.

The last thing I want to see is for the Burlington public school system to be turned over to a fringe group of extreme right wing political activists, who want to control what our children learn.

That’s the reason I’m voting for Katherine Bond. She is a practical woman of principle. She will not buckle to political extremes that divide us.
