The following is a letter to the editor:
People Helping People is so grateful to Bob Murray, owner of the Café Escadrille, for all he has done and continues to do for our organization.
Bob and his nephew Michael were instrumental in helping People Helping People find a new Food Pantry. What people don’t realize is that when Bob heard we needed a new facility, he reached out to us to provide his support. This new food pantry has allowed People Helping People to serve more families in the community of Burlington. Bob also provides a location for PHP to store and sort gifts for the holiday program. The holiday program provides gifts to children in need in Burlington. This past February Bob hosted the 10th annual Wine Tasting & Charity Auction at the Cafe Escadrille. Proceeds from the event support People Helping People. The event was sold out with a waiting list! The Wine Tasting and Charity Auction has become an event that the community of Burlington looks forward to every year! People Helping People is appreciative of Bob’s continued financial support of our organization. Bob and his nephew Michael have truly made a difference to People Helping People in so many ways and we are very thankful.
