Back to school is coming on fast but there’s still plenty of summer to be had in Burlington with outdoor activities to make the most of the remaining summer days.

Jammin With You at Wayside
Thursday, August 10 starting at 11am laugh, dance, sing and jam your way through 45 min of non stop family fun! This performance is geared for kids ages 1 to 7, but fun for the whole family. With modern takes on children’s classics and classic original tunes, you’ll be humming and bopping your way all the way home.

BCAT Video Vacation Week
BCAT’s FREE week-long summer program for kids entering 6th through 8th grade.  Participants are on-camera talent as well as behind the scenes learning about video production with a completed production broadcast on BCAT and BCAT’s YouTube channel. 

Classic Car Show
Friday, August 18 11am to 2pm Atria Longmeadow Place hosting a classic car show with custom cars, hot rods and the classics. Enjoy a barbecue lunch, DJ and the car competition.

ROW 34 Ice Cream Social
Tuesday, August 25 5pm to 7:30pm ROW 34 is holding an Ice Cream Social on its patio with ROW 34’s own Pastry Chef Angela. Tickets can be exchanged for adult beverages and sweet treats and a child ticket provides all they are “allowed” to eat.

Beer Garden at Wegmans
Wegmans Burlington is continuing their Beer Garden events every Thursday 5pm-8pm until August 31st. Enjoy beer tasting, live music and lawn games on the patio area. For those 21 or over, proper ID required to receive a wristband for beer samples. Attendees with wristbands will be given eight tickets, with each ticket enabling them to obtain a 2-ounce pour of beer. Tables will be available for patrons to sit as well as corn hole, ladder ball and food which can be purchased within the store in the normal course of operations. 

Live Music on The Green at 3rd Ave.
3rd Ave. has live every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night from 5pm – 8pm on The Green or pull up a seat at one of the patios and enjoy the show.

3rd Ave. Cornhole Tournament Tuesdays
Cornhole on The Green every Tuesday evening at 6pm. Sign up for free and compete for a chance to win weekly prizes and 1/2 off apps and pizzas from Osteria Nino’s.

Kids Painting on The Green at 3rd Ave.
This popular event happens Sundays on The Green 10am to 11am. Paint a different image every week.

Free Yoga on The Green at 3rd Ave.
Weekly yoga with Jillian is free to the community, all ages and levels and are welcome. The class happens on The Green 9:15am to 10:15am. Please bring your own mat!

Community Beer Garden
This September look forward to the four community beer gardens each Thursday. Last year’s beer garden events proved so popular the Burlington Economic Development Office is bringing them back with a portion of sales benefiting the People Helping People Burlington food pantry.
