Members of the MIAA will continue to follow the expectations and orders put forth by Governor Baker in relation to COVID-19.

With new challenges becoming evident daily, the fluidity of this pandemic continues to be evident. The personal safety and well-being of the MIAA and the community is paramount. The MIAA wants to thank the public for all their efforts in continuing social distancing and said together we can make a curve.

The following were motions that were approved by the MIAA Board of Directors

The first motion was to have a cutoff and entry due date for spring Golf on June 11th at 8pm for regular season competition and playoffs would begin on the 15th. This was approved anonymously.

The last motion was to have a cutoff date of June 21st at 6pm for Boys/Girls Track and Field with entries received by June 22nd. The Sectionals have been scheduled for June 27 and 28th and the Pentathlon for June 25th. The motion was approved unanimously.

The structure and format organizing track tournaments will be reviewed by the Track and Field Committee with a recommendation brought forward to the committee.

Lastly, with everyone changing on a daily basis, the committee did not choose to establish a date at which spring tournaments will not be conducted.
