One Day Liquor Licenses Going Outdoors

Two local businesses will be taking their offerings outside this summer. Representatives for Wegmans and the newly opened Common Craft were both approved for one day liquor licenses for outdoor activities by the Select Board. 

Wegmans will be holding a beer tasting set for Saturday, June 18th 1pm to 5pm in the cafe and patio area in front of Wegmans. There will be lawn games in the patio area and a musician performing. The tasting event will feature the Aeronaut Brewing Company, Jack’s Abby Craft Lagers, Harpoon Brewery and Wachusett Brewing Company. The event will also feature outdoor lawn games for the whole family. Wegmans is planning other tastings this summer with dates to be announced. 

Larry Leibowitz, owner of Common Craft at the Burlington Mall was also before the board for one day liquor licenses for three seperate upcoming dates. Common Craft will utilize the green space off of its outdoor patio area for a tiki themed events over on July 17th and August 7th and an Oktoberfest event at the end of September, complete with an Oom-pah band. The use of the green space has been approved by the Burlington Mall.
