Another week, another photo to highlight.
This week’s photo takes us back outside and into nature. It was sent in by Phyllis Neufeld and features a brightly colored male Northern Cardinal spotted at Horn Pond. Fun fact, The male Cardinal fiercely defends its breeding territory from other males and when one sees its reflection in glass surfaces, it frequently will spend hours fighting the imaginary intruder. Pretty, but not super bright.
