Another week, another photo to highlight.
This week’s photo features one of the smallest birds in the world. It was sent in by young Burlington resident Gwyn McNamee and features a female ruby throated hummingbird she photographed in her backyard. These birds are constantly looking for nectar to power their high-energy ways which include beating their wings a whopping 53 times per second.
