The Burlington Public Library is holding a special Pokémon Palooza Friday, March 20th and there’s something for everyone.
Pokémon Palooza Part 1: Party for Families!
Families with kids of all ages are invited to attend part one of a Pokémon Palooza-the BPL’s Pokémon Party! Drop by the Library between 4 and 6PM and help celebrate 30 years of Pokémon with the following activities!Pokémon card tradingPokémon paper craftsScreening of your favorite Pokémon movies or TV episodes, Pokémon cupcakes and more.
Pokémon Palooza Part 2: Kids Tournament
Pokémon trainers in grades 3+ are invited to attend part 2 of a Pokémon Palooza- the BPL’s Community Pokémon Tournament! Kids in grades 3-8 will compete in a Kids bracket, while both teens in grades 9-12 and adults ages 18+ will compete in a Teen/Adult bracket for the Library title of Top Trainer! Trainers will be randomly assigned places in your age bracket and you’ll work your way through the matches over the course of the evening.
