Presbyterian Church To Host First Community Dinner

The Presbyterian Church in Burlington is inviting Burlington area neighbors to a new community building event, the first of their planned monthly free community dinners.

The dinner will be held Wednesday, April 27th, 5:30 to 7:00 pm.

“We want to create a warm, welcoming space for people to share a home cooked meal and build stronger connections with others. Meals will be free – no donations of food or money are expected.” a notice from their website states.

The menu for the kick-off diner is chili, cornbread, green salad, and deserts; vegetarian and gluten-free options will be available. COVID guidelines will be followed; to protect vulnerable populations, participants are requested to wear appropriate face masks except when eating and drinking.

Volunteers are needed for cooks, greeters, table hosts, set up and clean up. Click here to sign up to volunteer

Future meals will be held on the last Wednesday of the month. Questions email uplift@burlingtonpres.org
