Recycle Your Electronics August 30th at Saint Margaret’s

Saturday August 30th, Saint Margaret’s Church in Burlington will be hosting an Electronics Recycling Event from 9 am – 2 pm.

The event will be held in the church parking lot (111 Winn Street) rain or shine. All items run by battery or electrical power, in addition to bicycles are accepted for a small fee, as listed by category below…

No charge, but Cash Donations Appreciated: Bicycles in any condition, Video Game Media and Accessories, Wires, Cables, Chargers, VHS/DVD’s.

$5: Computer Towers, Laptops, DVD Players, VCR’s, Small Printers, Stereos, Radios, Alarm Clocks, Speakers, Video Game Consoles, Table Lamps, Fans, Hair Dryers, Curling Irons, Projectors, Power Tools, Drills, Cameras, Clocks, Trophies, Frying Pans, Holiday Lights, Other Small Electronics.

$10: Small Household Appliances, Vacuum Cleaners/Roomba, Toaster Ovens, Ceiling Fans, Floor Lamps, Air Fryers, Electric Grills, Hot Plates, Small Radiators, Keyboard Pianos, Coffee Makers, Ice Makers, Sewing Machines.

$20: Flat Screen Computer Monitors, Microwaves, Dehumidifiers, Air Conditioners, Water Coolers, Large Printers/Copiers, Leaf Blowers, Chainsaws, Heat Lamps, Artificial Christmas Trees, Fire Extinguishers, Propane Tanks (Empty).

$25: TVs up to 26,” CRT Monitors, Outdoor Grills, Dorm Sized Refrigerators

$30: TVs between 26” and 35,” White Goods, Washing Machines, Dryers, Stoves, Dishwashers, Large Appliances, Large Yard Equipment,Treadmills, Exercise Equipment, Snow Blowers, Lawn Mowers, Rototillers, Large Generators, Motors, Water Tanks.

$35: TVs over 36,” Large Refrigerators, Ride-On Lawn Mowers.

$40: Projection TVs.

Cash Payment is Preferred, but Checks may be used for collections over $30. Venmo is also available. The event is run in collaboration with Green Day Recycling, a Massachusetts based electronics recycling company. A portion of the events proceeds will benefit the church.
