Girls Field Hockey are not only searching for their first victory this season, but also their first offensive goal. The team was shut out 0-6 against the Reading Rockets on Sept. 4, then lost in a heartbreaker of 0-1 against Lexington on Sept. 6.
Still, head coach AnnMarie McNeill is proud of how the girls played against Lexington. “I think we really turned it up a notch from the first game against Reading,” she said. “The energy was there from the beginning and started the game strong, came close but couldn’t get the job done, but we are onto the next one.”Â
