Red Devil Fall Sports: Girls Cheerleading Finish First, Grace Seaman Competes at Volleyball Showcase

The final days are here for Burlington’s fall sports teams. Some have already finished their seasons; others are nearly there. It was a particularly exciting week for the cheer team. Let’s check out the latest:

RED DEVIL FOOTBALL COMPETES WITH ARLINGTON
Burlington had a one-sided win against the Arlington Spy Ponders. It was the bittersweet final game at Varsity Field for this year’s graduating seniors. Click here for more details.

CHEERLEADING ADVANCES TO STATE FINALS
Burlington Cheer placed first out of 17 teams at the D4 North Regional Championships this weekend with a score of 87.5. They advance to the State Finals on November 24. Congratulations, Burlington!

GRACE SEAMAN COMPETES AT ALL STAR SHOWCASE
Lady Devils Volleyball player Grace Seaman competes in the Massachusetts Volleyball Coaches Association girls volleyball showcase on November 18 at Westborough High School. Details forthcoming.

Robert Parris

Robert Parris is BCAT’s Sports and Features Reporter. Robert first got involved with BCAT in January 2016 as a volunteer news reporter. Throughout the year, as a volunteer, he was busy developing his technical skills at the studio and his ENG skills in the field. In the summer of 2017, Robert joined the team full-time. He quickly settled into his role, providing all of the production support for our news programs, as well as providing weekly sports highlights. Robert also produces a weekly feature for BNEWS, as well as a monthly show called, BNEWS Sports Hub, and BCAT’s Game of the Week.
