Lady Devils Volleyball are (3-0 overall) this season after a 3-1 win in the season opener against Winchester on Sept. 7. and a shutout win, 3-0, in Tewksbury on Sept. 8. The Devils were are at Hawkes Field House at Reading Memorial on Sept. 11 where they won 3 sets out of 2 against the Rockets.
Lexington Minutemen will visit the Devils on September 13.

GIRLS SOCCER LOSE SEASON OPENER TO WINCHESTER
Lady Devils Soccer (0-1 overall) had a home match at the Marshall Simonds Middle School with Winchester on Sept. 9. where they scored one goal in the 4-1 defeat.
The team will travel to Reading Memorial on Sept. 12.
BOYS SOCCER GOES SCORELESS TO OPEN SEASON
It was not a great start for the Red Devils Soccer team (0-1 overall) as they were shut out 0-8 at Knowlton Field in Winchester on Sept. 9. Burlington will have their home opener at MSMS on Sept. 12 against Reading Memorial.
FIELD HOCKEY GETS BACK TO BACK LOSSES
Lady Devils Field Hockey (0-3 overall) have not scored a single point yet this season as they were shut out 0-3 in their season opener against Winchester on Sept. 6. and 0-6 on Sept. 9. at Reading Memorial. The team hosted the Lexington Minutemen on Sept. 11 at Varsity Field. With no time remaining, Lexington was able to score a goal on a penalty shot.

The Lady Devils Cross Country will travel to Winchester for their season opener on Sept. 13.
BOYS CROSS COUNTRY ON ROAD TO START SEASON
The Red Devils Cross Country will open the season with Winchester on September 13 as well.
BOYS GOLF BEGAN SEASON WITH BEDFORD
Red Devil Golf (1-0 overall) started the season at the Patriot Golf Course in Bedford on Sept. 1. Burlington came up short in the five-point loss, 33.5 to 38.5. Originally, the Devils were scheduled to have their home opener against Arlington on Sept. 8. but it was postponed due to severe thunderstorms.
The next opponent will be against Watertown on Sept. 12 at the Oakley Country Club.
GIRLS SWIMMING LOSES OPENER
The Woburn and Burlington combined swim team (0-1 overall) lost their season opener by a score of 91-71 over Winchester on the afternoon of Sept. 11.
Melrose will be the visiting team on Sept. 13. at Woburn Boys’ & Girls’ Club.
