GIRLS LACROSSE WIN ON SENIOR NIGHT
Burlington girls lacrosse picked up a 17-6 win over the Wilmington Wildcats at home last Monday on senior night. Five seniors were recognized: defensemen Ava Robitaille, Sloane Wilson, and Alexis Kasekende, midfielder Hannah Taitelbaum, and goalie Mairin Condon.

The Devils then hit the road, falling 15-11 at Wakefield and 14-2 at Reading.
They return to action this week at  Stoneham (6 and 6) on Monday, before hosting the Belmont Marauders (8 and 4) on Wednesday.
BOYS LACROSSE SPLIT CLOSE MATCHES
Burlington boys lacrosse had two tight games last week. The Devils earned a 12-11 win on the road at Wilmington, then went to overtime against Wakefield, falling 7-6.
Now at 7 and 4, Burlington will host the Stoneham Spartans (5 and 6) on Monday and travel to face the Belmont Marauders (5 and 5) on Wednesday.
MIXED RESULTS FOR BOYS BASEBALL
The Burlington baseball team went 1 and 2 last week. The Devils opened with a 3-1 win over the Stoneham Spartans at home, then fell 6-1 against the Wakefield Warriors and 5-0 on the road facing the Belmont Marauders.
Now at 4 and 8, Burlington will host the Woburn Tanners (5 and 7) on Tuesday and the Watertown Raiders (3 and 10) on Thursday.
GIRLS SOFTBALL DROP TWO GAMES
Burlington softball lost  two games last week, falling 3-1 at home to the Belmont Marauders and 13-1 on the road against the Wakefield Warriors.
Now at 2 and 9, the Devils will travel to face the Woburn Tanners (6 and 7) on Tuesday and the Watertown Raiders (1 and 10) on Thursday.
GIRLS TENNIS SPLITS FOUR MATCHES
The Burlington girls tennis team went 2-2 in a busy week coming out of April break.
The Devils opened with a 5-0 win over the Stoneham Spartans, with Therese Kosinski, Shreeya Patel, and Cecelia Fraczek winning singles matches, while the doubles teams of Nishtha Prajapati & Samira Patel, along with Emery Shaw & Molly Doherty, also earned victories.
Burlington then fell 5-0 at Watertown and 5-1 against Belmont, with Fraczek picking up the lone win.
They bounced back with a 3-2 win over Wakefield, with wins from Fraczek, and the doubles teams of Shreeya Patel & Shaw, and Samira Patel & Prajapati.
Now at 3 and 7, the Devils have three matches this week, traveling to face the Woburn Tanners (1 and 8) and the Bedford Buccaneers (8 and 1), before returning home to take on the Watertown Raiders (7 and 5).
BOYS TENNIS PICK UP BACK-TO-BACK WINS
The Burlington boys tennis team won back-to-back matches last week, starting with a 4-1 win over the Stoneham Spartans on the road.
Arnav Jhumat and Casey Shannon won their singles matches, while the doubles teams of Nathan Melanson & Austin Li, along with Carter Briscoe & Rahul Patel also picked up wins.
The Devils followed that with a 3-2 win over Watertown, with Jhumat and both doubles teams of Melanson & Li, along with Briscoe & Patel earning victories. They then fell to Belmont at 5-0.
Now at 4 and 7, Burlington has a busy week ahead with matches against the Wakefield Warriors (2 and 7), the Woburn Tanners (o and 9), the Central Catholic Raiders (5 and 4), and the Watertown Raiders (4 and 7).
UNIFIED BASKETBALL WINS FIRST GAME OF THE SEASON
After opening the season with a 31-24 loss at Arlington, Burlington Unified Basketball earned their first win of the season with a 47-37 victory over the previously undefeated Melrose Red Hawks.
Now at 1 and 1, Burlington will travel to face the Lexington Minutemen (1 and 5) on Tuesday afternoon.
