Red Devil Spring Roundup: Softball Continues Hot Streak Against Wakefield

SOFTBALLS HOT STREAK CONTINUES
The softball team (9-0 overall) had an outstanding performance over Melrose, 16-2, on April 19.  Burlington was back at home on April 21 against Wakefield Memorial at Marvin Field, where they won 6-2. Burlington traveled to Aprile Field in Wilmington on April 24 where they had a one-sided win of 6-1. The team will be at home against Arlington High School on April 26 at Marvin Field.

GIRLS/BOYS OUTDOOR TRACK COMPETE AGAINST WAKEFIELD
The girls (2-1 overall) and boys (3-0 overall) are had great performances again over Wakefield Memorial on April 24. The Lady Devils won 78-58 and the boys won 97-39. You can check out the full results for both teams by clicking here. Both teams will host Stoneham on May 3. 

BOYS VOLLEYBALL AT WOBURN
Boys volleyball (2-3 overall) will return to the court on April 25 at Woburn Memorial High School.

GIRLS LACROSSE WINS OVER METHUEN ON BREAK
Girls lacrosse (2-3 overall) were back at Varsity Field on April 20 against Methuen High School, where the team won 18-11. Burlington will have another home game on April 26 against the Stoneham Spartans.

BOYS LACROSSE GET BACK TO BACK WINS DURING APRIL VACATION
Boys lacrosse (4-3 overall) had a close win over Pentucket Regional High School, 12-10, on April 20. The following day, the team competed against Waltham High School, where they had a blowout win of 18-6. The Burlington Red Devils will travel to Stoneham High School on April 26.

BASEBALL COMPETE AGAINST MELROSE AND WAKEFIELD
Boys baseball (4-4 overall) had two games during April break last week against the Melrose Red Raiders and Wakefield Warriors. At home against Melrose, the team scored seven runs over their opponent in the 7-3 win on April 19. At Walsh Field in Wakefield, the Devils scored six runs in the 6-14 loss on April 21. Burlington was back at Francis Wyman on April 24 against Wilmington High School where they had a 15-6 win. The Red Devils will be at the Spy Pond Baseball Field in Arlington on April 26.

GIRLS TENNIS PREPARES FOR WILMINGTON
Girls tennis (3-3 overall) return to action on April 26 at Wilmington High School.

BOYS TENNIS BACK ON THE COURT
Boys tennis (4-3 overall) returned to the court at Dobbins Tennis Courts in Wakefield on April 24 and secured a 4-1 victory. Burlington will be home at Rahanis against Wilmington on April 26.

UNIFIED BASKETBALL WINS OVER LEXINGTON
Burlington Unified Basketball (1-0 overall) defeated Lexington High School on April 12, 34-23. You can check out the full game here. The Red Devils will be back at the BHS Vanella Gym on May 3 against Reading Memorial.
