Red Devil Spring Roundup: Softball Crowned Division 2 State Champions, Boys Track Compete at New Balance Nationals

BOYS OUTDOOR TRACK COMPETE AT NEW BALANCE NATIONALS IN PHILADELPHIA
Six athletes — Elijah Wolinski, Colin Irwin, Ryan Brooks, Eric Sekyaya, Rithikh Prakash and Mihir Balsara — competed in Philadelphia for a three-day event at New Balance Nationals. Here were the results of the events: Prakash ran the 5K and finished in 11th place; Brooks had a personal best throw of 146′ feet and 10″ inches, finishing 5th in the freshman Javelin. Wolinski is Burlington’s 13th All American in history, finishing in 6th place in the Pentathlon. The Distance Medley team of Sekyaya, Wolinski, Irwin and Prakash came in 18th place with a time of 10:37.60.
