Red Devils Track Compete in Middlesex League Meet and Seven Athletes Are Attending 2022 MIAA Pentathlon

 Red Devils track hosted the Middlesex League Championship Meet on May 19 at Varsity Field. Twelve schools competed in the league meet: Arlington, Belmont, Burlington, Lexington, Melrose, Reading, Stoneham, Wakefield, Watertown, Wilmington, Winchester and Woburn.

 

Here are some of the results from the league meet:

4×100: Neil Almeida, Anthony Abbott, Ryan Cunningham and Robbie Benjamin- 6th place- 46.67

4×400: Almeida, Abbott, Paul Conti and Anthony Minichiello- 5th place- 3:44.51

Burlington competed in the South Shore Twilight Meet on Saturday, May 21 at Norwell High School. You can check out the full results by clicking MSTCA.org 

In addition, Elijah Wolinski, Robbie Benjamin, Tyler Callahan, Charles Desmond, Alex Murray, Evan Kim and Dylan Giles will compete in the MIAA Pentathlon on May 26 and 28 at Notre Dame Academy in Hingham. Good luck gentlemen!

2019 BHS alumni Rishabh Prakash made the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division 1 T&F East Regional Championship in the 5000m. Prakash will run on May 27 in Bloomington, IN looking for a chance to advance to the National Championship in Eugene,OR.
