Reminder: Local Elections are Saturday, April 1

Burlington’s local elections are Saturday, April 1, and polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Burlington High School.

In one of the more high-profile races, three candidates are competing for two open seats on the Burlington School Committee: The current Committee Chair Katherine Bond and current Vice Chair Carl Foss are facing competition from Air Force veteran Jeremy Brooks, who also ran unsuccessfully last year.

Two newcomers, Brian Pupa and Lindsay Carlson, are vying for an open spot on the Recreation Commission.

And Jessica Sutherland and Toni Ann Natola, who were both appointed to fill vacancies on the Burlington Planning Board, are now running to become fully elected members of that board.
