Sahehi is hosting their Annual Meeting Friday, September 16th at 6:00pm virtually this year.
Saheli, a Burlington based non-profit domestic violence prevention/intervention organization, that provides personalized, culturally-sensitive, trauma-informed support to South Asian and Middle Eastern survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
The organization is excited to have Gita Muni, MS, MT & Indu Muni, Ph.D, as the keynote speakers. Gita and Indu Muni are the co-founders of Cutis Pharma and ROMEG Therapeutics, LLC. They believe in making a positive impact in the world by supporting causes that improves the lives of vulnerable people.
The event features the 2021 Annual Report, Nirbhaya Gala 2022, welcoming of new board members, advisory committee members and staff, celebrating and thanking key advisory committee members, donors and Saheli supporters. Click Here to attend the Saheli Annual Meeting.
Saheli will be also hosting a series of events for Domestic Violence Awareness Month in October, including a Tree Lighting on Monday October 3rd and their annual Saheli 5K Walk for Domestic Violence Awareness will be on Saturday October 23rd.  BNEWS will have further detail on these events as they approach.
