Smith & Wollensky has officially closed its Burlington location after three years in town.
The upscale steakhouse, located at 92 Middlesex Turnpike, served its final dinner service on Sunday, May 17, according to a message posted on the restaurant’s website. The Burlington location opened in 2023 in the former Del Frisco’s Grille space.
In a statement announcing the closure, the restaurant thanked the Burlington community and its loyal guests.
“We are incredibly grateful to the Burlington community and to all of our loyal guests for your support over the past three years. It has been our pleasure to serve you and be part of your celebrations and special moments. We can’t wait to see you again at our Boston and Wellesley locations soon.”
The restaurant occupied the former Del Frisco’s Grille site along Middlesex Turnpike, marking the second steakhouse to close at the location in recent years. Despite the closure, Burlington continues to have several upscale steakhouse options, including Cafe Escadrille, The Capital Grille, The Bancroft, Black & Blue Steak and Crab, Mooo Burlington, and Eddie V’s Prime Seafood.
