A marked Burlington Police cruiser will be parked in front of the Burlington /Target on Friday, Nov.25, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., ready to take donations of toys.
Community members who are unable to make it to the event can drop off an unwrapped gift at the police station through Dec. 6.
Gifts will be donated to the children of fallen officers during NECOPS Christmas Party.
Concerns of Police Survivors Inc., also known as C.O.P.S., is a nationwide nonprofit organization providing resources to assist in the rebuilding of the lives of survivors of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty as determined by Federal government criteria. The New England Chapter supports survivors in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont.
