Sunset Salsa at The Park at the Burlington Mall

MetaMovements is back at The Park at The Burlington Mall. Their first Sunset Salsa dancing event happened on June 15 and was a hit. MetaMovements represents a variety of artists in the Greater Boston Area, including Salsa dancing groups from Lowell, Worcester, and East of Boston. Salsa is a mixture of dances, such as mambo, pachanga and rumba, as well as American swing and tap.

Sunset Salsa consists of group dancing lessons, demonstrations of different Salsa styles, and social dancing for participants to try out their newly learned moves on the dance floor. The next chance to learn some moves will be July 20, with the following itinerary:

6:00pm – Salsa Lessons! Separate groups for beginner & experienced dancers

6:30pm – The Party begins! DJ and Social Dancing

7:30pm – Showtime! 15-20 minutes of exciting Dance Performances by Boston-based Latin dance companies

7:45pm – The Party continues with DJ and Social Dancing until 8:30pm.
