The Burlington-based non-profit The Mama Bear Effect is teaming up with Top Golf in Canton, Massachusetts next month for a fundraiser in support of their mission, which is to raise awareness and prevent child sexual abuse.
“The best tool to protect children is an educated adult.” says Community Relations Coordinator Jenna Lloyd. “We educate families on how to talk to their children about body safety. We produce materials that give age appropriated discussions that you can with your children about body safety.”
The event will be held at Top Golf, located at 777 Dedham Street in Canton, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and will feature a buffet lunch, cash bar, and the facility’s high-tech golf game. All proceeds go to support The Mama Bear Effect.
Loyd hopes it’s a fun day for all that helps raise awareness of The Mama Bear Effect’s mission.
