Town Offices & Facilities Reopening

For the first time since March of 2020 the Town of Burlington Town Hall and offices will be open for in person business beginning Monday, June 14th. According to Town Administrator Paul Sagarino the town is gearing up to get back to business as usual.

“The Governor threw everybody for a loop by pivoting on the reopening date. All the departments have expressed an interest in getting back to “normal” as quickly as possible,” said Sagarino.

Parks and Recreation and the Burlington Public Library are prepared for full reopening. Library Director Michael Wick talked about their plan.

“The library is opening on our regular schedule but Friday and Saturday are holidays, Juneteenth and, after that week, we switch to our summer hours. We aren’t able to start our summer Saturdays until August 7th,” Wick said.

Expanded programming at the Council on Aging will begin on 7/1 as the June schedule had already been prepared.
