Venue Change for Burlington’s Memorial Day Ceremony

Updated Monday at 6:45 a.m.

Due to inclement weather there will be changes to Burlington’s Memorial Day ceremonies.

Burlington’s Department of Veterans Services said in a statement that  the flag raising at 8 a.m. on the Town Common has been cancelled.

The 10 a.m. ceremony is now being held in the Murray Kelly wing in the Council on Aging section of the Human Services Building (61 center street)

Again no procession and no outside events at the cemetery at 10:00 as it is now being moved inside.
