Better get the snow shovels and blowers out.
The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Winter Storm Warning that will be in effect in the area from 7 p.m. on Monday, February 1 to 5 a.m., Tuesday, February 2.
During that time the NWS says we can expect upwards of 7 to 15 inches of snow. We can also expect gusting winds of upwards of 45 miles per hour.
“Travel could be very difficult to impossible,” the NWS says. “The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.”
The NWS says to avoid travel during this time if possible.
